If you've never beatboxed before, it can seem pretty intimidating.

But what if you could learn to beatbox using simple, everyday words as a starting point?

Below, you'll be able to practice simple beats with easy words to get you started.

BOOTS AND CATS

Try to say the following words in a rhythmic fashion:

Boots   N   Cats   N

Potato Cats!

Listen to an example:

Once you've got a good rhythm, try to say the words without any vowel sounds:

B-ts   N   C-ts   N
